DARRELL BREWER
KING SHOALS, W.Va. — Darrell Gene Brewer, 53, of King Shoals, went home to be with the Lord Sun., Aug. 9, 2015, at Logan Regional Medical Center following a courageous battle of an aggressive cancer.
Born Nov. 11, 1961, in Logan, W.Va., he was the son of the late Clyde "June Bug" and Margaret Brewer of Chauncey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Kathrine Crum.
Darrell was a former employee of American Hydraulics and currently employed at Logan Regional Medical Center. He had a great love and passion for his Logan Cowboy family. He will be cheering them on from his new home. He was also excited for the Justice Elementary School year. He was also a member of the West Logan Church of God.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Candy, and the love of his life, Landon; step-daughter, Emily, and husband Crockett; son, Bruce Brewer, and daughter, Candace Brewer; granddaughter, Lacie Brewer; sister, Juanita (Everett) Vance; his best friend, encourager, agitator, Tammie Aleshire; his sisters, Connie Bush and Bonnie Lambert; brothers, Ralph Evans and Gary Evans; a special friend and prayer warrior, Alice Cheek, and a large host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wed., Aug. 12, at James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scotty Dingess and Rev. Gary Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Miller, Kevin Stone, Silas Belt, Les Goldie, Paul Baisden, Chris Miller, Chris Flannigan and Rick Ball.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill McNeely, Ray Podunavac, Chuck Nichols, Jim Winkler, Bill Copley and James Rice.

Candy, I'm so sorry for your loss. You and the entire family are in my prayers. I am happy Darrelle and dad was able to see each other before the Lord called him home. I'll remember that smile from Darrelle for a long, long time! We as believers in Christ will again see Darrelle on the other side. May you find comfort and peace in the love of the Lord, always.
