ERNESTINE COLEMAN
LOGAN, W.Va. — Ernestine Coleman, 94, of Logan, departed this life Wed., April 15, 2015, at Trinity Healthcare of Logan.
Born Aug. 18, 1920, in Stotesbury, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Mix and Evelyn Caffee Ramsaw. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Coleman; two daughters, Emmadine Mixon and Claudette Williams; one son, Ronald Coleman; one sister, Dorris Hall; two brothers, Alex and Eugene Ramsaw, and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Coleman was a graduate of Aracoma High School, a long-time member of the Cole Street Missionary Baptist Church in Aracoma, retired from Guyan Machinery and also worked at PRIDE Inc. in Logan.
Left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Charlene Jewett of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Reginald "Katharine" Coleman of Fort Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sat., April 18, at Cole Street Missionary Baptist Church in Aracoma with Rev. Frank Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Guyan Memorial Gardens in Godby.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
