EULA WEST
LOGAN, W.Va. — Ms. Eula Mae West, 83, of Canton Lane, Logan, departed this life Mon., May 18, 2015, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born April 1, 1932, in Reform, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Susie Draper West. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Vanderbelt West; two sisters, Clemmie Lee Henderson and Beulah Mae West, and special friends, Willie James and Ernestine Coleman.
Eula was a graduate of the old Aracoma High School; did domestic work for the Ellis, Cook, Majors, Hairston and Duty families and was a faithful member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Logan where she served as Mother of the Church, supported Women in Gods Service group, loved her Sunday School teachings and a former Choir member. Ms. Eula had strong family values and believed in raising children right and making them mind.
Survivors include two sons: Henry and Charles West, both of Logan; two grandsons: Calmece West and Andre Horton; others she raised as grandchildren, Shantel, Timothy and Maurice Sidney and Diana, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sat., May 23, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with The Rev. James H. Mosley Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Guyan Memorial Gardens at Godby, W.Va.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

I am saddened by the passing of Eula Mae West, she was a very lovable, kind hearted. Ms. Eula watched me and my siblings grow up, she and my mom were good friends, I will miss both christian women, I'm sure I will see them again.

So sad to hear of Ms. West's passing. I have taught many of her grandchildren and know they will miss her tremendously. Prayers for the family as you mourn her loss.
