GLORIA BUTCHER
HOLDEN, W.Va. — Gloria Butcher, 64, of Holden, left this life to be with Jesus Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Pittsburg University Hospital.
Born April 7, 1951, in Logan, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ora Jones Marcum of Mud Fork. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters: Kay Lester, Linda Lester, Joann Maynard, and Patty Thompson, and one brother, Big Jim Marcum.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, William Butchern; one daughter, Lillian (Nikki) Harvey; two sons, Donny Harvey of West Logan and Justin Harvey of Holden; three sisters, Bambie Spaulding of Mud Fork, Brenda Fields of Saint Albans, Libby Compton of Mud Fork; two brothers, Tolbert Marcum of Kentucky, and Robert Marcum of Charleston, and seven grandchildren, Allyssa Harvey, Mady Wells, Jaelyn Dillion, Erick Harvey, Allison Harvey, Gracie McCloud, and Phenyx Harvey.
Services will be held at noon Tuesday, January 19, at James Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday, January 18, also at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family.

Gloria Jean and I were good friends from the early years we haden't seen each other in a while but I will always remember her she was a good friend prayers for the family. RIP Gloria !!
