Sharon Chafin Obituary
Sharon Kay Morgan Chafin, 52, of Pineville passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 unexpectedly.
A celebration of Sharon's life was held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Keith Reed and Pastor Bill Rose officiating.
Burial followed in the Morgan Family Cemetery, Centerville.
Services by Calfee Funeral and Cremation Service, Pineville.

To both the Morgan and Chaffin families whom I know:
I just received word about Sharon. This is quite a shock. She was a very special friend who I will always remember. Everyone knows her for her bubbly personality that made her fun to be around. I shared so many activities like cheerleading, band, camps, classes and much more. There was always a common thread between us. There is more I could say, but I send words of encouragement to ALL, especially the Chaffin and Morgan families. Perhaps you may or may not know God as your personal savior. These verses can be a refuge in times of need.

So very sorry for your loss. Mrs Chafin was my daughters favorite teacher when she had her at Pineville Middle.She was a lovely person and cared so much for her students. How lucky your family was to have her in your life. God Bless and comfort you all.

God has called home another angel. I know Sharon's family will miss her dearly, we did'nt get to visit her much but we will be very aware that she is no longer here in this world but gone to the next to be with the Lord. Sharon was a gentle soul in our world. Her "impish" smile brought light to any room she entered. Just viewing her pictures tonight reminded me of what a great role model for others she was-- a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Sharon and I were classmates and sorority sisters at Concord. Oh, how many nights we just sat up studying and laughing, mostly! She had such a bright and cheerful smile and could light up a room. Probably how she would light up a classroom full of her very lucky students. I would also run into her while visiting the State Fair. I was always so glad to see her. It was like we had never been apart by all those years. I'll never forget one semester we were comparing classes and one of her classes had 'Staff' listed rather than a professor name because one had not been named yet. She thought her professor for that class was 'Dr. Staff'! We laughed and laughed! I know everyone who knew her is filled with wonderful and special memories. Please know you are in my heart and I, too, am filled with an emptiness. May you feel and know God's comfort.

My heart is so sad and hurt, I have lost a Niece whom I will always remember her with a smile for you and sweet words, She had a Spirit of always being happy I never seen her angry she was always glad to see you and made you feel at home,I know she rests in the arms of Jesus and her work here on earth is done no more sorrow or pain for all these things are passed away and she walks on streets of gold today, She hears the Angles singing come sit down by the river of life till Jesus calls all of us home.
