Charles Webb Obituary

EAST BRIDGEWATER- Charles E. Webb, 81, longtime resident of East Bridgewater, died peacefully with his family by his side on Christmas Eve.
Charles was the son of the late Stewart and Gladys (Power) Webb and was born on April 9, 1934 and grew up in Foxboro. He was a graduate of Norfolk Aggie Class of 1953 and married Vivian E. Ellis on April 24, 1954 and the two would raise their family in East Bridgewater.
Charles served in the US National Guard for 2 years and would work for the Foxboro Company in East Bridgewater for over 30 years as a supervisor. Charles loved cooking and he loved teaching his grandchildren the art of the perfect pizza, he had a lifelong passion for landscaping, playing cards, occasionally playing golf and spending time in Winter Park, Fla.
He was the loving father of Charles E. Webb and his wife Anita of Fla., Vivian E. Meserve and her husband Bruce of East Bridgewater, Kathleen Springhetti and her husband Edward of Bridgewater, Stewart Webb and his wife Judy of East Taunton, and Doris Menard of Hyannis. Loving "Grampie" of 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Doris Belocus, John Webb, Donald Webb, Frances Webb, Marie Soldati and deceased siblings Kenneth Webb, Robert Webb, Stewart Webb, Gerildine Sloan.
Family and friends are cordially invited to a Mass of Christian burial at St. John's Church, 210 Central St., East Bridgewater on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m., burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Gentiva Hospice, 275 Martine St. Suite 202, Fall River, MA 02723.

We are very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a lot of fun to work with and will be missed very much. Your mom was a wonderful woman also and she is missed to.
