Dean S. Cushing III

Dean S. Cushing III of Goodyear, Ariz. passed away peacefully on September 28, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Janet (Bugbee) Cushing and his daughters, Janine Swathwood and her husband Jeremy of Aurora, Colo. and Beth Haglund and her husband Joe of Phoenix, Ariz. He was the loving Grandpa of Jacob and Hannah Swathwood and Lucas and Samantha Haglund. Also survived by his sisters, Doreen Kimball of Concord, N.H. and Diane Willard and her husband Marc of Lillian, Ala. He was the son of the late Dean Stearns Cushing Jr. and Dorothy (Christie) (Cushing) Cowing. He is also survived by his loving sisters and brothers-in-law Elaine Meuse, Suzanne McCallum, Marie Laursen, Arthur Bugbee, and David Bugbee. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired as a senior executive of South Shore Savings Bank. He was a long time member of the United Masonic Lodge of Weymouth AF and AM and was also a board member and past chairman of Road to Responsibility in Marshfield, MA. A celebration of life is planned for early summer of 2019.
