Dorothy Suzan Obituary

Dorothy (Long) (Taylor) Suzan, age 83 years, of Lakeville died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in East Bridgewater after a period of failing health. Born Thursday, July 26, 1928, in Middleboro, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Benson) Long. Dorothy was a 1946 graduate of Middleboro High School and had been a longtime resident of Middleboro and Lakeville. She worked as a hostess at the former Tamarack Restaurant in Lakeville, at Swanks and at Talbots. She was also a member of Church of Our Savior in Middleboro. She was the loving mother to Charlene MacDonald of Hanover, George Taylor of Nevada, Norene Bindon of Lakeville, JoAnne Baptiste of Lakeville and Dawn Taylor of Bridgewater. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Wood of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Norma Lucas. Memorial visitation will take place Thursday, March 15, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville. Funeral service has been omitted.
