James B. Hanley Jr.

James B. Hanley Jr., 43, of Easton died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at home under the care of his family. He was the husband of Jennifer (Smith) Hanley for 19 years. Born in Brookline, Oct. 25, 1968, a son of James and Mildred (Roche) Hanley of Stoneham, he was raised in Brookline and Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. Jim continued his education graduating from Providence College and later earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Jim was employed as a vice president with Fidelity Investments in Boston for 20 years. A longtime Easton Youth Soccer League coach, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Easton Youth Soccer League. He was also a member of the Easton Mens Soccer League, was an active runner who also kayaked. He enjoyed spending summers at his home in Newport, R.I., for many years. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Caelin Hanley and Daniel Hanley, both of Easton; a brother, Bill Hanley of Stoneham; two sisters, Juliann Powers of Brookline and Eleanor Clark of Melrose; also survived by aunts uncles, nieces and nephews.
