Sorry to return home and learn Joe was funeralized today. I remember him as a boy when we moved to the neighborhood. He was always a compassionate and respectful young man. When was stricken he remained the same person during his struggles. May he find peace and his find solace knowing that he was shown love and support throughout his challenges.

Joe was my best friend and boyfriend (2010). I took him on a booze cruise; he took a Spanish class at Massasoit with me; went to Hampton Beach for a concert-which was upstairs + two bouncers carried him up while the other carried his wheelchair; once he was in scrubs with a cig hanging out of his mouth and a guy said thanx for your service- where you in the war- he said Desert Storm; went to the 49's club? and one of us ordered a Sombero and the other a whiskey drink=me and the guys laughed that he ordered the wimpy drink...

I will always remember Joe, my neighbor and friend, as a very sweet and kind guy. He never complained about his circumstances and always seemed to be upbeat. He was an inspiration to all that knew him. I am confident that he is in a better place for sure. God Bless Joe and his family that took such great care of him.
