Katherine Testa Obituary

Katherine L. "Katie" (Karas) Testa, age 69 of Brockton, died April 8, 2021. Born in Canton, she was raised and educated in Brockton. Katie married her best friend and love, Dennis Testa. Together, they shared thirty-seven years of cherished memories and created a beautiful life together. Katie was employed as a Finance Document Coordinator at Grove Street Advisors, LLC in Wellesley. Throughout her career, Katie met many amazing friends that are now lifelong "sisters". Her vibrant energy was so contagious that others easily gravitated towards her. She made friends everywhere she went, whether it was on a trip to Hobby Lobby or her favorite seamstress. Katie was a wonderful wife, mother and Mimi who was devoted to her family. Katie loved spending her time shopping; she lived for finding a great deal. She also enjoyed crafting and was obsessed with butterflies. She was the mother of Kristin Testa of Palmyra, NJ, Kaitlynn Norwood of Easton and Charles Testa of Brockton. Katie especially loved her role as Mimi and was the most vivacious, generous and lively Mimi to her four grandchildren: Olivia and Spencer Corbett and Mia and Ivy Norwood. Katie is also survived by her extended family and friends. Mimi was always full of songs, crafts, and special gifts. Those lucky enough to have known Katie will remember her for her fun, kind and radiant soul. Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday, April 16, from 8:15-10:15am, followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, South Easton, at 11am. Masks must be worn and social distancing observed in the funeral home and in church.
