Norma L. DesRoche

Norma Lee (Co-Wallis) Simmons-DesRoche, of Middleboro, formerly of Lakeville, died on Friday, July 12, 2013. She was the wife of John R. DesRoche, and the former wife of Gregory P. Simmons. She was born in Bangor, ME, daughter of Agnes V. (Kelleher) Co-Wallis of Middleboro and the late Gerald Co-Wallis. She was a graduate of Salve Regina College of Newport, RI. She was a Registered Nurse at the Brockton Veterans Administration Hospital, and previously for Morton Hospital and New England Sinai. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. Survivors include her mother, her husband and former husband, a daughter; Stacy L. Simmons of Lakeville, two sons; Todd G. Simmons of Austin, TX, Aaron C. Simmons of Buzzards Bay, a step-daughter; Katelyn Savoie of Marthas Vineyard, a brother; Gerald Co-Wallis of Halifax, three sisters; Holly K. Ferreira and Sharon Stafford, both of Middleboro, Joella Co-Wallis of East Falmouth, three grandchildren; Olivia Simmons, Larry Savoie, and Ella Savoie, several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, on Tuesday, July 16, from 4 - 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, on Wednesday, July 17, at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
