Paul Marshalsea Obituary

MARSHALSEA Paul J. Marshalsea, 75, of Pocasset, formerly of Brockton, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at Bourne Manor in Bourne. He was born June 18, 1931, in Boston, son of the late Theophilus and Sally (MacMillan) Marshalsea. He was active in politics with the Democratic Party while living in Brockton. He was an avid lottery records keeper and loved watching the TV show MASH. He moved to Cape Cod in 1994 and was affectionately known as the "Prince of Picture Lake" in Pocasset. He was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Bob) Collett of Pocasset and Lynda Jane (Joe) Marchi of Bourne; a son, Michael Paul Marshalsea of Brockton; a sister, Dorothy Haley of Barrington, R.I.; and two brothers, Richard (Phyllis) Marshalsea of Hyde Park and Ronald (Pat) Marshalsea of Norwood. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Leanne Marshalsea, Kaitlyn Marshalsea, Aimee Marshalsea, Michael Marshalsea, Kelsey Collett, Robbie Collett, Connor Collett, Anthony Marchi, David Marchi and Alicen Marchi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Mary Slonina Marshalsea, a son, Mark Marshalsea, and a daughter, Lori Marshalsea. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
