Robert Reid Obituary

Robert E. Reid, 51, of East Bridgewater, died Sunday, November 12, 2017, in Boston Medical Center, after complications of diabetes. Born in Boston, December 24, 1965, he was the beloved son of Janet (Isaacs) Reid of East Bridgewater and the late Harry J. Reid. He attended East Bridgewater schools and was a member of the Army National Guard. For over 20 years he had been the owner and operator of "Bob's Big Breakfast" in Brockton and Bridgewater. He had a generous heart and had sponsored countless Little League teams and donated to numerous charities throughout the years. In addition to his mother Janet, he is survived by his daughter, Macy E. Reid of Easton; his son, Danny Bushe of Orlando, FL; his brother, Harry S. Reid and his wife Sharen of Palm Coast, FL; and his sisters, Kim Ferranti of Holbrook, Kristen Pauze Reid of Carver, Karen Reed and her husband Kevin of Halifax and Kerry L. Reid of East Bridgewater. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held Friday, November 17, at 8:15 a.m. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary), Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 16, from 5-8 p.m. For online condolences and directions, please visit www.blanchardfc.com.
