My remembrances of him will always center around his - and Altheas - extraordinary love for Easton and their joint perpetual participation in the shaping what this splendid community has become over the past 50 years...

To Althea and family, I have had the pleasure of knowing Bob for many years as a member of the town's police department and then as Commander of the Legion Post that he was a member of. You were both a fixture at the police sponsored events for the senior citizens of the town, which is how I met Bob. I was also proud to be a fellow soldier as well as a comrade in the Legion Post. He was so proud of his days as a medic during the Korean War. It was very obvious that he cared deeply for the community. On behalf of Bob's brothers and sisters at Post 7, please accept our deepest and heartfelt sympathies and prayers at this time. He will be missed. God Bless you all at this time.
In Comradeship,
Jim McAvoy
