Stephanie Marie Torres, 40, of Brockton died unexpectedly November 23, 2015. Born July 26, 1975, in Taunton, she was the daughter of Dennis Torres and Jeana (Carroll) Torres of Taunton. Raised in West Bridgewater before moving to Brockton 19 years ago, she was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School, Class of 1993. Most recently, Stephanie was a secretary and Union organizer for the Sheet Metal Union Local 17; previously she worked for both Chase Chevrolet in Middleboro and Metro Ford in Raynham. Stephanie was an amazing, loving, kind, and beautiful soul who loved arts and crafts. She enjoyed the summer season and having cookouts by her pool with family and friends. She was the type of person that would do anything for anyone. Most of all she loved spending time with her best friend and brother Keith, and taking care of her grandchild Kolby. In addition to her parents, Stephanie is survived by her son, Gaige Spear; and her grandson, Kolby Dollar; her companion of eighteen years, Chris Thompson all of Brockton; and her siblings, Keith Torres of Brockton, Melissa Herbert of Raynham, Jessica Ramos and Dennis Torres Jr. of New Bedford, and Denise DeCosta of Norton. Following cremation there will be a memorial gathering in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123), Brockton, Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, 10-11 a.m. with a prayer service at 11.
