Steven Coy Obituary

Steven J. Coy, 43, of Taunton, formerly of Easton, died unexpectedly on Nov. 5, 2015. Steve was born in Lancaster, New Hampshire on June 29, 1972 and is the son of the late Richard N. Coy and Joan A. (Gouthro) Coy of Plymouth and Naples, Fla. He lived in Taunton with his wife, Yoka M. (Perkins) Coy. Steve was raised in Easton and was a 1991 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. He was a self-employed carpenter. Steve was an avid Star Wars fan, movie enthusiast, motorcycle enthusiast and animal lover. Steve is survived by his wife, Yoka M. (Perkins) Coy, his mother, Joan A (Gouthro) Coy and her companion John Colantuone of Plymouth and Naples, FL, siblings, Teresa Coy of Attleboro, Richard Coy and his wife Gisela of Easton, Stephanie Woodward and her husband Mark of West Bridgewater and their children Mark Jr. and Alex, and John Coy and his wife Jacqueline Monahan and their children, JP and Evan. He is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
