THERESA M. MENARD

Sister Theresa Marie Menard, CSJ (Sister Perpetua), a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston for 70 years, died April 1, 2010. Daughter of the late Desire and Aurore (Harvey) Menard. Sister of the late Annette, Paul J., and Harvey J. Menard. Survived by her brother, Ernest J. Harvey and sister, Helen McCarthy. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews and great great nieces and great great nephews. Formerly missioned as an elementary teacher at St. John, Boston North End; St. Catherine, Charlestown; St. Lazarus, East Boston; St. Columbkille, Brighton; and Holy Family, Rockland where she also served as Principal; St. Agatha, Milton; St. Mary, West Quincy. Sister Theresa also taught high school at Sacred Heart, Weymouth; Fontbonne Academy, Milton; and St. Francis Xavier, South Weymouth. Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 3:30-6 p.m. Vigil Service at 6 p.m., followed by the Funeral Mass. Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
