Thomas Gorman

Thomas "Tucker" Gorman, 79, of Middleboro, passed away on August 1, 2017, at his home after a short illness. He was the husband of Georgette "Kiki" (DiSciullo) Gorman of 57 years. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Thomas A. and Mary (Coyne) Gorman. Tucker was a 1957 graduate of Brockton High School and lived most of his life in Brockton and for the past 15 years in Middleboro. He retired in 1993 from the United Parcel Service "UPS" and had served with the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was a former amateur boxing trainer and a member of the Bertocci Club in Brockton. He also was a communicant of Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville. In addition to his wife KiKi, he is survived by 3 children, Mary A. Gorman, Thomas K. Gorman and his wife Dawn and Timothy P. Gorman; 3 grandchildren, Catherine Fox, Beth Gorman and Trevor Gorman; 2 brothers, David Gorman and Danny Gorman; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Gerry Gorman and Bob Gorman. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 6, 2017, from 2-5 p.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017, at 8:45 in the funeral home followed by burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given in Thomas Gormans name to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
