Thomas A. White II

Thomas A. White II passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2015. Tom was born July 7, 1959, in Brockton, Mass. He was raised in Massachusetts and California. Tom attended public schools in Raynham, Mass., and California. He subsequently earned a GED. Tom developed skills in both brick and stone masonry while under the tutelage of his grandfather and father. He worked as a brick and stone mason for 40 years. Many buildings and private homes along the East Coast of the United States stand as testaments to Toms skills in those trades. Tom embarked on a new career when he earned his Commercial Drivers License (CDL) approximately five years ago. He worked as a long distance tractor trailer driver until his untimely death. Tom is survived by his mother, Jean Austin-Long, and stepfather, Dr. Gary F. Long, both of whom reside in Prince George, Va.; his father, Thomas A. White I, who resides in Stoughton, Mass.; and his sister, Sherri Wright, who resides in Chester, Va. Tom is also survived by two uncles, Robert White of North Easton, Mass., and Leo Butch White of Bridgewater, Mass. In addition, Tom is survived by cousins, Pamela Voris and Jeffrey Cotter, of Eastview, Ky., and Michael, Sandra, David, and Dean White of Mass. A private remembrance and celebration of Toms life will be held in Prince George, Va. Tom will also be remembered through perpetual prayers during Masses conducted at the La Salette Shrine in Attleboro, Mass.
