TO THE VANDROSS FAMILY, I WORKED WITH VIV FOR MANY YEARS AT SEARS. SHE WAS A FUN, LOVING, KIND HEARTED LADY. IT IS SAD TO SEE HER GO SO SOON. I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT ABOUT HER. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS WILL BE WITH YOU ALL AND ALWAYS KNOW SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. FROM LISA D. BROCKTON

Memories of Sis Vandross flood my mind. My mother Olive Webster was the pianist and wanted me to sing in the choir for the Lord and Sis Vivian showed us how to really praise God through song. She was vibrant and commanded excellence! How I sing today is with the same spiritual influence of this great lady. I also have heard stories of her childhood through my cousin Marion (Fowler) Anderson who was her neighbor as a child. So many have been influenced by her service to the Lord.
