Anna C. Barbati

Anna C. Barbati, 92, of Weymouth, Rockland and Ft. Pierce, Fla., passed away on April 9, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late John M. Barbati, she was the devoted mother of Susan Turgiss and husband Robert, Theresa White and husband John, John Barbati and wife Lissa, David Barbati and wife Janet, William Barbati and wife Kathleen and Robert Barbati and wife Lisa; cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Saccone and her brother, John Saccone; daughter of the late Angelo and Delores Saccone. After high school, Anna worked until marriage, and raised her family in Weymouth. Anna had many interests including art, dance, singing and travel. Later in life Anna and John settled into an active Florida retirement. Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren, family and friends. Anna will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, on Thursday, April 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Kingston on Friday, April 13, at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
