Barbara D'Angelo Obituary

Barbara M. (Sprague) D'Angelo of Whitman, formerly of Quincy, died December 10, 2014. Barbara worked for Raytheon Corp in Quincy for ten years before joyfully becoming a homemaker raising her children. She was also a hairdresser for many years. Barbara loved to collect salt and pepper sets, travel, make ceramic gifts for her children and go dancing. Beloved wife of the late Robert D. D'Angelo, she was the loving mother of Mark S. D'Angelo and his wife Michelle of East Bridgewater, David R. D'Angelo of Somersworth, N.H., Melissa A. D'Angelo and her long time partner Lynda Fernandes of Whitman, and the late Robert D'Angelo Jr.; sister of Harry Sprague of Vermont, Charles Sprague of Whitman, Mark Sprague of Rockland, Billy Sprague of Whitman and the late Betty Wilcox, Dorothy Edwards, Annette Keene, Lenoard Sprague, and Frankie Sprague. Also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Monday from 4-8 p.m., at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), South Weymouth. Funeral services will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
