Cliff Theriault Obituary

Cliff Theriault of Milton and Longboat Key, Fla., died March 28, 2013. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Cantelli) Theriault, he was the loving father of Jay Theriault of Milton; brother of Julia Millham of Kingston and the late Paul Theriault and Pauline Melanson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A retired union carpenter, Cliff was formerly employed by Thomas O'Connor Construction Co., where he was involved with the restoration of St. Stephen's Church and the Old North Church. Cliff retired from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. During World War II, he served with 234th Engineer Combat Battalion and participated in the D-Day landings on Omaha Beach, Normandy and received the Purple Heart on the Siegfried Line. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth Parish, 350 Reedsdale Rd., Milton, Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment in Milton Cemetery. Visitation in Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton, Monday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Cliff's name may be made to Homes for Our Troops, 6 Main St., Taunton, MA 02780, www.homesforourtroops.org.
