Florence B. Shulenburg

Florence B. (McGrath) Shulenburg, of South Boston, died July 29, 2018 at the age of 109. Beloved mother of Mark Shulenburg and his wife Beverly of Greenfield, Patricia Devin and her husband Michael of Quincy, David Shulenburg of Maine and the late Jon Shulenburg. Loving Gramma of Stu, Amy, Michele, Cheryl, Becky, Lesley and Michael and Great Gram to 17 great-grandchildren. Devoted daughter of John and Mable (Bulger) McKenna. Cherished sister of the late Elizabeth Singer, Irene Hedges, Patricia Nash, Rosalie Kincaid, Kathleen Graves, John "Buddy" McGrath, Donald McGrath and Edward McGrath. Caring sister-in-law of Norman Graves. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Florence lived a long full life and enjoyed every moment to the fullest. She was a woman before her time and took advantage of every experience she encountered. Florence saw the good in everyone and everything. Her main passion in life was her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Florence will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3 - 7 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Monday prior to the funeral Mass in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sharon, at 10 a.m. Burial in Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
