Francis Bradway Obituary

Francis M. Bradway Spanish Fort, Alabama Francis M. Bradway, 94 years of age, died at his home at Westminster Village, Spanish Fort, Alabama on Friday, November 23rd, 2007. He was born in Syracuse, New York. He graduated from the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture at Glen Cove, New York. He was a practicing Naval Architect and Marine Engineer for 45 years. He was associated with the Bath Iron Works at Bath, Maine, and Litton Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was a member of the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church. Mr. Bradway was the husband of the late Helen (Stewart) Bradway, who died in 1999. He was the son of the late Marshall and Lottie (Dunham) Bradway. He is survived by two sons: Stewart Bradway of Advance, NC and Robert Bradway of Grand Junction, Colorado. He was predeceased by a brother: Ralph Bradway of Williamsburg, VA. In addition he leaves 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, MA on Saturday, December 1st, 2007 at 10:00 AM. A Memorial service will be held at the Spanish Fort United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM on Saturday December 15, 2007. Arrangements are by the Russell & Mortimer N Peck Funeral Chapels, Inc. 516 Washington St. Braintree, MA which can be seen at www.peckservices.com.
