Gerard Keefe Obituary

Gerard V. Keefe, 87, of Eastham, passed away in the presence of family Tuesday, May 10, at Cape Cod Hospital in Barnstable. Son of the late Philip and Della (Baldwin) Keefe, Jerry was born, raised, and lived 66 years in Houghs Neck, Quincy. A proud World War II Navy veteran, he participated in the D-Day invasion. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marion (Marenghi) Keefe; loving father of Mark E. Keefe and wife Janice of Quincy, Marianne Reardon and husband Tom of Plymouth, Lorraine Keefe of Plymouth, Gerard Keefe and wife Lisa (Younie) of Manchester, N.H., Jeffrey Keefe of Quincy; along with nine grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney, Casey, Kirby, Jesse, McKenzie, Joshua, Ami, and Amanda. To my good friends the Keefes. So many good memories of your dad and mom. We were all brothers and sisters in those days. It's funny I was thinking of your dad lately. I miss the old neighborhood of Houghs Neck. I remember when your grandmother ratted on me and Ralph for peeing on the front corner of the house at 120 Darrow and she was watching us out her window across the street. So much history. Love you all. Larry Ryan
I can be found on Facebook and I write a fishing blog called www.bitemebaitco.com I hope all of you are well. You dad will be missed.
