Jim was a wonderful friend and flying buddy for my dad, Don Park. They flew regularly to various places for breakfast or lunch in my dads plane, their favorite airport destination being in Chatham. Jim was a great support to us when my dad couldnt fly anymore after a stroke. He flew over my house one Easter so my dad could experience the joy of seeing his buddy flying his plane and he later helped us sell the airplane. I remember talking to Jim about his love of family; he talked with such passion and devotion, he was an inspiration. I know Jim felt terrible not being able to come to my dads funeral but Pat came and made us feel his presence. When I talked at my dads funeral about his amazing friendship with Jim, I was choked up with emotion because I knew how much Jim meant to my dad. The Park family always adored Jim for his kindness and genuine loving soul. He will surely be missed
