Joanne Lussier Obituary

Joanne Katherine Lussier of Middleboro, a longtime Weymouth resident, 52, passed after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer on June 22, 2021. As an avid animal lover, she worked as a dog walker/cat sitter for many years. She also loved to spend time walking the beach. She is survived by her parents, Donna (Anderson) and Robert Lussier of Weymouth, brother, David Lussier and his wife Heather, with nephew, Simon, and niece, Clara of North Carolina, sister, Michelle Zanowski and her husband Paul of Rhode Island, sister, Gail Gillis and her husband Daniel of Middleboro, niece, Nicole Garrity and her husband Brian, with great-niece, Sadie of Connecticut. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, June 28, from 3 pm in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 3 Charles St. (corner of Charles and Middles Streets), East Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Joanne to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. See www.Keohane.com for directions and online condolences.
