Lorraine Lopez Obituary

Lorraine Stelin Lopez (Becky) passed away after a 15 year battle with cancer, in Salt Lake City, UT on Monday July 6, 2015 surrounded by her son Gilberto Lopez and his wife Pam Schilling as well as the wonderful hospice nurses and assistants. Lorraine is survived by her five children, Amalia Lopez from TX, William and Gilberto Lopez from NM and UT respectively, Anna Garbe from CA and Adriana Lopez from MA. Her grandchildren are Carmela Rupe, Thomas Lopez, Kirsten Piazza and Drew Garbe. She is also survived by her siblings Michael Gorman from TN, Dan Gorman from OH, Joe Gorman from MA, Rosalie Leary from MA and Diana Hunt from MA. Lorraine was a resident of the South Shore for most of her life. We will all miss her laughter and sense of humor. Memorial and burial will take place Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pauls Church of the Nazarene, 136 Summer St., Duxbury, MA 02332 followed by the burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury. Luncheon at the Hunt residence in Holbrook, MA afterwards. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Pauls Church of the Nazarene, 136 Summer St., Duxbury, MA 02332.

Sorry to hear about Lorraine- I worked with her at Stop & Shop. She always had a smile for everyone and I enjoyed the times we talked - you are all in my thoughts and prayers - may your memories bring you comfort thru the coming days
