Lorraine P. Mosillo

Lorraine P. (Righini) Mosillo, age 80, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Caritas Carney Hospital in Dorchester after a brief illness. Mrs. Mosillo was born in Milton, educated in Quincy schools, and graduated from Quincy High School, Class of 1947. She was a lifelong Quincy resident. She worked as a Cafeteria Manager for the Quincy Public School Department for over thirty years, retiring many years ago. She was also a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Mosillo was devoted to her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid bowler, card player, and a dedicated fan of the Boston area sports teams. Mrs. Mosillo was a member of the Quincy Sons of Italy, Stella Del Nord. Beloved wife for 56 years of Peter P. Mosillo, Q.P.D., Retired. Devoted mother of Pamela A. Feger and her husband Frank D. of Plymouth and Laurie M. Shappee of Quincy. Loving grandmother of Jill McEvoy and her husband Michael, Kristen Jara and her husband Walter, Matthew Feger, Christopher Feger, Janine Shappee, Mary Appelgren, Jennifer Feger, and Richard Feger. Survived by nine great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Paul F. Righini and his wife Barbara of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, greatnieces, and greatnephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Friday, May 14 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Marys Church, 95 Crescent St., West Quincy at 10 oclock. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
