M. Kate Hartford-Kennedy

Mary Kate Hartford-Kennedy, originally of Norwell, passed away suddenly on May 5, 2016, at the age of 45. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Ann (O'Brien) and William G. Hartford III. Kate is survived by her daughters, Victoria Hartford and Jennifer Kennedy of Pembroke. She was the sister of the late William G. Hartford IV and survived by her sister, Heather R. (Hartford) Becker, also of Pembroke. She was the proud aunt of several nieces and nephews and survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mary Kate was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Hingham 1988, and enjoyed a career in real estate. Visiting hours will be Wednesday May 11, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the OBrien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, South Boston. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Resurrection of the Lord Church, 1057 Main Street, Hingham, Thursday, May 12, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Mary Kate's memory to the American Red Cross, 139 Main St. Cambridge, MA 02142.
