Mariann Roche Obituary

Mariann Roche Braintree Roche, Mariann (Hurley), age 72, of Braintree, died at home October 18, 2007. Wife of the late George Roche. Mother of Laura Yanow of Brockton, Mary "Terri" Brennan and her husband Bill of Scituate and the late Stephen P. Roche. Mother-in-law of Marion Roche of Randolph. Grandmother of Lindsey Yanow, Erin and Kevin Brennan and the late Stephen W. Roche. She was born and raised in Dorchester and had lived in Braintree for the last 50 years. Mariann retired in the mid '90's after 20 years as a court officer for the Child Support Enforcement Office in Boston and Brockton The greatest joys in her life were her grandchildren, her dogs and gardening. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 22 at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree Highlands At the request of the family visiting hours are omitted. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Birmingham Center for Cerebellar Neurobiology c/o Mass General Hospital, 100 Charles River Plaza, 6th Flr., Boston, MA 02114. Arrangements are under the direction of the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St., (Rte. 37) Braintree.
