Forever grateful for Peter

I just went to send Peter a facebook message and am now seeing this news. I am so sad for you all. Your dad did so much for my son and I Christmas 2016. My father had just passed away, they graduated together, my 12 year old son had a hard time dealing with his grandpa's passing. I searched everywhere for a picture of my dad playing basketball in high school, your dad not only found me the most amazing picture but had it enlarged for us to frame. What a wonderful gift he was to us. We are sending you prayers and hugs.

Oh, Sean ... Gil and I are just seeing this news and are so terribly sad. We have been grateful to have you and Peter as our Perkins Pond neighbors for these many years. You and your family are in our prayers.

Pete was the sweetest teddy bear you'd ever want to meet. He was so giving and made you feel so special. We are so sorry for your loss, Sean and family. The good aspect is he is out of pain, but so young. What a wonderful time you've had with him. All our love, Susie & Tom

we never met in person but always swore that we would after exchanging a ton of emails regarding our boats which were built beside each other at the factory. after he sold "sooner," we sort of lost touch until a mutual friend told me that pete was sick so i'm glad that we got a couple more conversations in there. i'm sorry that we never actually got to meet, pete, but thank you for being my virtual friend.
