Peter Ricciardi

Peter Ricciardi of Quincy, died January 27, 2016. Peter was a jack-of-all-trades. He started his professional life as a granite worker with his father and went onto to build ships for the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, spent time as a plant manager and later built and co-owned a fitness club in Quincy. Peters passion was building and creating beauty. His skill as a wood craftsman led to many dollhouses for grandchildren and he was able to capture beauty through the art of photography, painting and gardening. He also enjoyed dancing. He will be dearly missed. Son of the late Costantino and Jiovanna Ricciardi, he was the beloved husband of Brenda (Curry) Ricciardi of Quincy; devoted father of Peter Ricciardi Jr. and his wife Louise of Rockland, Deborah Flanagan and her husband Stephen of Weymouth and Michelle Ricciardi Carlin of Holbrook; cherished Nonu of Heather, Kelsey, Christen, Joe, Tony, Jeffrey, Sabrina, Danielle and great-grandson Marcus; loving brother of Yolanda Vi Savasta of RI, Mary Sherman of Halifax, Artillio Ricciardi of Quincy, Victor Ricciardi of Halifax and the late Paul, Russell, Charles, Carmela, Joseph and Natalie Ricciardi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday 9-11 a.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), South Weymouth.
