Robert Bleidorn Obituary

Robert M. Bleidorn Sr. of Hingham, died February 4, 2015, at the age of 60. Bob worked as a Class A machinist at Masoneilan Dresser, GE Oil & Gas in Avon, until his retirement. He loved music and was an accomplished Bluegrass musician. He could play almost any stringed instrument; guitar being his favorite. He loved spending time outdoors, vegetable gardening, fishing, and traveling in his motor home to bluegrass festivals with his wife Lisa, family and friends. He also enjoyed building and fixing things. Most of all, Bob cherished spending time with his family. He was the beloved husband of Lisa (Argiro) Bleidorn; son-in-law of Rose Argiro and late John Argiro. He was the loving father of Rini Marie Higgins (Rich) of Weymouth, Robert Michael Bleidorn Jr. (Paula) of Pembroke, Christopher John Bleidorn (Aarti) of San Francisco, Calif., and Daniel Mark Bleidorn (Ryia) of Jeneau, Alaska. He was the cherished grandfather of Liam John Higgins, Molly Jeanne Higgins, Robert Michael Bleidorn III, and Benjamin Paul Bleidorn. He was preceded in death by Papa Gil, Grama Re, Catherine Burke and Mark Bleidorn. He was the brother of Renie Grisolia, Frankie Bleidorn, Nancy Tuefell, Eileen Bleidorn, Mariann Catalino, Louise Maritato, Gilbert, Greg, and Brian Bleidorn. He was a caring brother-in-law to John Argiro (Karen), late MaryAnn Harvey (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours February 8, Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. A celebration of life service will be held February 9, Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
