Robert E. Foster

Robert Elliot Foster, 87, of Milton, died June 14, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Botti) Foster of Milton; loving father of Robert E. and his wife Susan of Milton, Peter F. of Brookline and Janice F. (Foster) Mitiguy and her husband Dana R. of Cumberland, Maine; cherished Grampy of Carolyn E. and Gregory Foster and Cameron S., Julia K., Douglas F. and Jocelyn G. Mitiguy; brother of the late Kendall and Frank Foster. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Bob was a grateful member of the Greatest Generation having served his country honorably during World War II. Funeral service at the East Congregational Church, 610 Adams Street, Milton, Mass Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 4 to 8 p.m. Interment with military honors in Milton Cemetery.
