Robert Wright Obituary

Robert D. Wright, of Summerville and James Island, S.C., passed away at home on December 13, 2017. Born in Boston, on March 11,1940 he worked for Teamsters Local 25 Boston before moving to Charleston, S.C. 1986 with FedEx. He was a member of Teamsters Local 509 SC working for the movie industry. Bob is survived by his wife Joyce Wright and 4 children Robert (Corinne) Wright of Weymouth, Mass., Douglas (Anne) Wright of James Island, S.C., Linda (Edwin) Wiles of Greer, S.C. and Patricia (Ralph) Wright of Folly Beach, S.C. Two stepchildren Robert (Patricia) Lesenechal of Milton, Mass. and Debra Conrad of Rockland, Mass., 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Richard (Margaret) Wright of Mansfield, Mass., Paul Wright of Burrillville, R.I., Harry (Patricia) Wright of Barefoot Bay, Fla. and Thomas (Karen) Wright of Johns Island, S.C. He is predeceased by spouse Jean (Forrester) Wright of Weymouth, Mass. and sister Virginia Trautwein of Marietta, Ga. Cremation by Simplicity Funeral Home. Services will be private.

Bob was a wonderful man who adored his children. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I send my condolences to Bobby, Doug,Linda and Patty. I was there babysitter years ago and have fond memories of all the kids, Bob and Jean. May your Dad rest in Peace.
