Rose A. Williams

QUINCY Rose A. (Peasce) Williams, 99 years old, of Quincy, died Tuesday, November, 25, 2008 at the Quincy Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Williams was born in Boston, raised and educated in East Boston. She had lived in Quincy for the last 68 years, earlier living in Dorchester. She was employed at Schraft s Candy in Everett for five years. In addition, she worked as a candy dipper at the Phillips Candy House in Dorchester. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Williams belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed crocheting and creating arts and crafts for her family. Beloved wife of the late Ralph H. Williams. Devoted mother of Loretta C. Morrison of Weymouth. Loving grandmother of Joseph J. Morrison of Long Island, NY, Michael W. Morrison of Weymouth, and James M. Morrison of Pembroke. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. She was the last of 7 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Saturday, November 29th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, North Quincy at 9 o clock. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
