Ruth Wilson Obituary

QUINCY Ruth L. (Seybolt) Wilson, of Quincy, November 5, 2008. Beloved wife of the late John Wilson of Quincy. Devoted mother of Sandra and her husband Adam Krotov of Cape Coral, FL. Loving sister of Charles Seybolt of Wareham, Myrtle Martin of Groveland, Fla., Lillian Pero of Quincy and the late Francis Seybolt. Cherished grandmother of Daniel Krotov of FL, Kristina Ford of SC and Jonathan Krotov of CA. Ruth lived in Cambridge until moving to Quincy in 1962. She was a sales associate at Grossman's for many years. Mrs. Wilson was a strong and independent woman who enjoyed crafts, knitting, crosswords, animals, spending time with her family and was an avid Red Sox fan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 2- 4 p.m. Burial in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Wilson may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Dr., P. O. Box 859060, Braintree, MA 02185. So sorry to hear of Ruth's passing... I'll miss seeing her smiling face waving to me & Scott (or "hon & deary" as she called us :-)) on Tirrell Street...

Sandy and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I only just heard from one of my brothers. I know how much your mother loved the Red Sox -- I can still hear her yelling from her living room while sitting in your room Friday nights. I especially remember her at Mals--what a great place. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will call you soon. Love Debbie
