My condolences go out to my neighbors of 18 years . I really enjoyed knowing the McCarthy family . I am at a loss for words as I know there is nothing I can say to heal the pain . It sounds as though u lived a good life , I wish I could have seen u when u were a dad . Kevin Dexter

As a good friend of Sean's older brother Bob, I only knew Sean peripherally but sometimes that's the best vantage point. Sean was a kind and good-natured soul who went out of his way to treat everyone, regardless of social status, with respect and concern for their welfare. Many years ago he helped my brother, who was in Sean's high school class, through some difficult times for which I have always been grateful. My wife Laurie and I would like to pass on our condolences and wish you strength in dealing with Sean's death. Jim & Laurie Burkhardt
