Dear Dave & family,

I am stunned and saddened by the news of Shirley's passing. I love her very much. She is the true meaning of friend. She kept all her close friends near and dear to her. She loved organizing reunions. Whenever I would come to Mass., she would let everyone know and we'd have a great time catching up with each other and remembering the fun we had as kids. Shirley's spirit will never leave me. I am hurting for your loss and am thinking of you all.

Dave, God gave Al and I a great gift when we met you and Shirley. Our lives have been full of wonderful memories of travel, fun times and sad times and nothing can ever take them away from us. To me Shirley was the perfect mother, wife, grandmother and friend in the whole world. Shirley will never leave us, we can't see her but we sure do feel her. Dave, now the three of us have to make new memories while we talk about, laugh about and cry about the old ones. The entire Imrie family is one of the greatest gifts in life just to know them. I can't begin to express the deep sorrow, heart brake and shock I feel about the passing of my dear and wonderful friend Shirley.
She was so very "SPECIAL" to all that had the good fortune to have her in their life.
She was a very special and loyal friend. She was always there for me especially when I needed her the most. She truly cared from her heart and always there to lend a helping hand.
I knew I could always depend on her "ALWAYS". We had a very close friendship. I knew our love of friendship was mutual.
I will miss her visits and our long talks about what was going on in our lives ............ chatting about our jobs, bragging about our Grandchildren (we did a lot of that over the years .........FOR SURE :) or maybe just gabbing about our concerns in general.
Shirley was so strong, loving and caring. I will never forget her and will carry her in my heart always.
Part of my heart went with her when I received the tragic news. A part that will stay with her always.
I love you Shirl, I am going to miss you so much.
Rest In Peace my "DEAR FRIEND".

Dear Dave, Eric, Rachel, Pauleen, Matt and Melissa,
I am so very sorry about your tragic and shocking loss.
I know how very difficult this is for all of you.
Keeping all of you in my constant thoughts and prayers.

With Much Love and Caring Always,
Sue Helmar

Words cannot express the sadness I feel for your family at this time. Shirley was one of the happiest people I know. A woman filled with love and compassion for everyone. We shared a lot of fun memories from our basketball days at QPCC to Sunday night bowling and Shirley always had a smile on her face. I know that the memory of that smiling face will live on in your hearts forever. God bless you. With love,
