Teobaldo Berrini Obituary

Quincy Teobaldo Teo A. Berrini of Quincy, died Monday March 10 at Quincy Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was 93. Mr. Berrini was the beloved husband of the late Mary L. Palestrini. Born in Quincy on July 28, 1914, Mr. Berrini was the son of the late Emelio and Theresa (Assandrini) Berrini. He was a graduate of Quincy High School and worked, for 45 years, as a Pipe Fitter for Bethlehem Steel and General Dynamics at the Fore River Shipyard. Mr. Berrini later worked as a Janitor for the former Sterling Junior High School in Quincy. Mr. Berrini was a member of the Grand Lodge of Masons in Quincy and Braintree for 58 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wollaston for 73 years and had coached semi-pro football in Quincy. Mr. Berrini is survived by his daughter Judith Carlino of Quincy, his sister Lena Miller of Quincy and his grandson Jamie Hutchison of Middleboro. A Funeral Service were held this morning, in the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.

Judi, No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you , and know that both your Mom & Dad have always had a special place in my heart. I so well remember as a little girl, getting my hair cut in the basement, and thinking you were the most beautiful girl ever!! I'm sure that hasn't changed.

It was an honor to have had the opportunity to care for Ted (Teo) while he was here with us at Quincy Rehab. He was the sweetest gentleman and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
