Dear Denise, Danny and Linda - Like most families, our family has been through some tough losses over the years. To me losing Tommy is like getting kicked in the gut by a mule ~ it hurts like hell. We will always remember the good times we had at Nana and Gramp's house. When I turned 3, my Dad's job transferred our family to New York. In June he'd drive us down to spend our summers in Scituate, when we finally reached Jericho Road we would all be so excited, heads out the window sucking in the sea air, blowing our horn going by #75, so excited to see Nana and Grampy, Auntie Lois my Laz cousins. As my Dad used to say getting together was for us always a "party", whether it was fluffernutters on the patio, mud flat fights, Auntie Maureen's red row boat, that ugly old Styrofoam raft, Johnny and Michael's man cave next door - NO girls allowed, onion rings in the harbor (thank God for the town outhouse), bubble baths, drop line fishing, ice cream at the Blue Mooring, bon fires, Nana's apple pies, Lois' chowdah, little Linda shivering with lips blue from being in the ocean all day, or in later years house painting parties, Tommy's surprise lobster feasts, Maria's subs (don't forget the cranberries !), Nana's confessional booth, drinking parties, staying up all night at the lighthouse to watch the sunrise, a wedding here or there, or just a cookout - we ALWAYS had a good time together. We were so blessed with a loving family. Together our family has lost too many loved ones, but in my heart of hearts losing Tommy is by far the hardest. He was more than a cousin to me, he really was my soul mate. I love you Tommy Laz, and I will never forget you. RIP cuz, until we meet again. With our love and deepest sympathies to all of our Laz cousins, xo Kathy and Culver

Tommy had the rare gift of making people feel special. Whenever I ran into Tommy he never failed to greet me with a big smile, a warm hug and a positive comment. Tommy was a good, generous person with a kind heart. You will be missed Tom and remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. My sincere condolences to Denise, Danny, Linda and the rest of the Laz family.

To my friends Danny, Linda, and Denise. I'm sorry that Tommy had to leave here as he was a very nice guy. But he did get to live life on his own terms and that's something not many get to do. So good for him.

To the Lazarovich family:
It is with great sorrow that we write you. Tommy has been an important person in our lives for years and his help has been of inestimable value in our Scituate life. Always with a smile and always ready to help, he willingly assisted us with tenant problems, house issues, and even with our boat. His ‘dock' in the harbor was a delight to all and he charmed us with pictures and his sharp mind…much sharper than most realized. He shared his stories as a commercial fisherman, painter, plumber, and carpenter and always made us laugh. He had a common sense knowledge about all things Scituate and we valued his opinion on everything from governance to floods. We will miss him and always remember his friendship as well as his assistance to us. We grieve with you, and regret that we cannot attend his Memorial service. Please know that we are there in spirit.

Such sad news. Danny and family, I feel so bad. Keep the good memories alive in your mind and heart. Tommy was a true Scituate legend. Bigger than life itself and a gentle giant. Lots of great memories for me. Maybe a old timers memorial "street hockey" game at the yacht club is in our future.
I'll miss you Laz.

You could feel his aura of kindness which made me feel as though I was a special person. As with all of the Lazarovich family; Tommy shared his kind soul so easily. Tommy was truly a gift from God and it has been my honor to know him. I'm sure Tommy's big brother Johnny will have his arms around him as big brothers do your guardian angels. Tommy, I'm heartbroken that there can be no more 'Tommy' hugs, smiles, and stories. The summers in Scituate - swimming everyday & all day - - cousins all together. The nights on Jericho Road, stories of the storms, the run-away bread truck, the unknown comic. And, of course the 'LOB-STAHS'. You were always so much fun, but above all, you cared so deeply about everyone. I hope you have found peace and that all the Garritys and Lazaroviches are taking good care of you. Denise, Danny, Linda, Bill, Cindy, and your families - My heart goes out to you all. I'm here if you need anything - just let me know what I can do. Love you all,

Big Ed. My dear friend you will be missed. You, Danny, Herb and I have always been close childhood friends. Football in the front yard. Baseball in the side yard.Basketball at my house. Johnny would throw us a pass. It was like Tom Brady threw it. We were kids but we ruled the hood. Slide down Carls hill in the winter. Nooo.. don't go down suicide hill. Lol.We look now and laugh. Its not even a hill. To us it was mount Everest. We rode our bikes through the bushes. We would swim the pool at the Y club. Even though none of us were members. Tommy, u always had that smile. Always kind to my parents. When Johnny died a little in us guys died to. Rest in peace my friend. God bless you.
PS. I did not have a rock in my hand during that kids fight. Lol. Tommy, when u hit it hurt.
Always your friend. Harold.
