Victor Mutty Obituary

Victor L. Mutty of Quincy died peacefully on July 11 with his family by his side at the William B. Rice Nursing Home, Quincy. He was a WWll veteran of the US Army, CPL of Battery C 132 . He belonged to the No. Quincy VFW Post. Victor lived in Quincy for 59 years some of them being in the Fenno House in Wollaston. Victor was born in Brewer, ME. He was a marine sales manager for Crandall - Hicks Co. in Boston for many years. He retired from the Carney Hospital where he was an Engineer. He was the loving husband of the late Althea (Plummer). He was the Cherished father of Diane Carmody and her husband Richard of CA and Marjorie Madden and her husband John of Braintree. He was the Uncle of Marian Bourgeois of MD, Anne Biancusso of Wilberham and William Beaulieu of Hawaii. Mr. Mutty is also survived by his granddaughters Kathryn, Erin, Amy, Carolyn and Laura and his great-grandchildren Brendan, Dillan, Lauren, William, Emma, Claire, Ethan and Paige. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10 a.m in the Sacred Heart Church, Quincy. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 7 in the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock St., Quincy. Interment will be private. In memoriam donations may be made in Mr. Muttys name to the William B. Rice Nursing Home, Activity Dept., 215 Adams St., Quincy, MA, 02169 or the Dana-Farber, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215. Margie,
There was only one Victor! I will continue to miss him and his dry sense of humor. We had many good laughs and he could always put a smile on my face even when he was being "Victor". My heart goes out to you and your family. You and Victor will always hold a special place in my heart.
