LENOIR, NC-- Adam Collins Lackey, 16, of Auld Farm Road, Lenoir, died Friday, March 3, 2006 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.He was born March 9, 1989, in Caldwell County, to David S. Lackey and Mavis Collins Lackey of Lenoir. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence C. Collins and Ruby P. Lackey.Adam was a Junior at Hibriten High School.Survivors include his parents, David and Mavis Lackey of the home; a sister, Jane Catherine Lackey of the home; grandparents, William Kenneth Lackey of Lenoir and Willie Mae Collins of Chesnee, SC.The family will receive friends Sunday, March 5, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lenoir.Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Lenoir, with Dr. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.Memorials may be made to the Adam C. Lackey Memorial Fund for Foster and Adopted Children, 1966-H Morganton Blvd., SW, Lenoir, NC 28645; or to the Adam Booker Fund established at the Bank of Granite.Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.pendrysfuneralhome.comPaid Funeral Notice
