Alveree Jeter Herman
GREENVILLE, SC- Alveree Jeter Herman, 85, of 35 Southpointe Dre, died March 3, 2015. A native of Union, she was the widow of Andrew Herman and daughter of the late Charner A. Jeter, Sr. and Mahala Lyles Jeter. She was a member of Poplar Street AME Zion Church in Philadelphia and was under watch care at Chestnut Ridge AME Zion Church in Pauline. She was a graduate of Finley High School of Chester and Clinton College of Rock Hill. She was retired from Balmex Chemical Products. She is survived by one daughter, Alvera Herman (Obie) Porter; one granddaughter, Monica DeJesus, one great- granddaughter, Jadelyn DeJesus; and one sister, Dr. Vera Jeter Jones. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Believers Fellowship, Assembly, 150 Marion Ave., Spartanburg with burial in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be expressed at www.communitymortuaryinc.com. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, 1108 Flintridge Drive, Spartanburg.
