Andrew Lacey Obituary
Mr. Lacey served our country with the Marines during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and was retired from Duke Energy.
He truly enjoyed bird hunting and passed that love on to his children and grandchildren. The annual dove hunts were always the highlight of the year and the memories made will be cherished by his beloved family.
In addition to his wife, Ellen, he is survived by his children, "Andrew" Walden Lacey, Jr. (Patti), Charles Lacey (Carla), Mark Lacey, and Rosellen Lacey; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Lacey. He is predeceased by two brothers, Dozier and Charles Lacey.
Graveside service with military honors will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery, 115 Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29301. Rev. Gary Hensley will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Baptist Church, 200 Evangel Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.

Mr.Lacey was a funny and Genuine man. He was a joy to talk to .. He planted me two of his crepe myrtles and they have grown to be beautiful. He will be missed greatly.
