Doyle Edward Sisk
CHESNEE, SC-- Doyle Edward Sisk, age 63, of Margate Circle, Chesnee, SC, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg. He was a native of Forest City, NC and a son of the late Charles Robert "Bo" Sisk and Loree Allen Sisk; a member of Missionary Wesleyan Church and along with his wife was the co-owner of Sisk Restaurant in Forest City.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jolley-Sisk of the home; a son, Charles Jeffrey Sisk of Ellenboro; a sister, Merry Sisk Wiley of Weddington, NC; and a step-son, Kipp Jolley of Chesnee, SC. There are also two grandchildren, Zachary Sisk and Morgan Sisk; and a step- grandson, Kameron Jolley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 29, 2009, in the Missionary Wesleyan Church with Reverend Keith Nanney and Reverend Jamie Hamrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening, December 28, 2009, at The Padgett and King Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1428 Orchard Lake Drive, Charlotte, NC 28270.
The family will be at the home of his son, 140 Dakota Street, Ellenboro, NC.
The Padgett and King Mortuary is in charge of arrangements and an online guest registry is available at www.padgettking.com.
