Gloria Gabriel Obituary
Gloria E. Gabriel, 84, of Valparaiso formerly of McHenry, IL & Carbondale, IL passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born August 5, 1933 in Chicago,, IL to George & Lillian (Devitt) Jones. Gloria was a member of Valparaiso Baptist Church and had received Christ as her Savior in 1952 at Bible Faith Church in Des Plaines, IL.
On June 14, 1952 she married Dale Gabriel who survives along with their children: Mike (Mary) Gabriel, Gary (Deborah) Gabriel, Bill (Brenda) Gabriel, her sister, Laverne Guadagno, grandchildren: Jeremy, Amanda, Anthony (Heidi), Jacob (Eri), Derek, Erin (Matt), Erik (Lauren) and great grandchildren: Andrew, Chase, Hanna, Addison, Madilynn, Lorelei, Gloria, Connor, George & Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: George, Harold, Raymond & Leonard.

Aunt Gloria was a wonderful woman of God, fun-loving, kind-hearted, and spreading joy wherever she went. We are forever grateful for the blessing she was in our lives. Our prayers and our heartfelt condolences go out to Uncle Dale and all the family. God bless you and comfort you as only He can.

She was a wonderful friend and we shared many wonderful talks. I loved having her work along side me at the thrift shop. Many many good memories. I thank God that one day I will see her again. Thank you Lord for the wonderful memories.
